Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup breadcrumbs plain progresso®
  • cups rice white cooked
  •  eggs beaten
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper red (cayenne)
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • 0.5 cup oats 
  • 16 ounces pasta like spaghetti uncooked
  • cups pasta sauce 
  • tablespoon vegetable oil 
  • 0.5 cup wheat germ

Directions

  1. Cook and drain spaghetti as directed on package.
  2. In large bowl, mix rice, oats, onion, bread crumbs, milk, basil, oregano, red pepper and egg. Shape into 12 balls.
  3. Roll balls in wheat germ.
  4. In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook balls in oil about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
  5. Heat spaghetti sauce until hot.
  6. Serve sauce and rice balls over spaghetti.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
