  • large carrots grated
  •  bacon thick crumbled cooked
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh coarsely chopped
  •  green onions thinly sliced
  • 0.3 cup juice of lemon 
  • 0.3 cup olive oil 
  • 16 oz orecchiette pasta 
  • cup peas sweet frozen
  •  radishes cut into wedges
  • servings salt and pepper to taste
  • 1.5 cups snow peas fresh

    Directions

    1. Cook pasta according to package directions, adding sweet peas and snow peas during last minute of cook time.
    2. Drain.
    3. Toss pasta mixture with radishes and next 5 ingredients; season with salt and pepper to taste.
    4. Sprinkle with bacon and, if desired, crumbled goat cheese.
    5. *1 (16-oz.) package farfalle (bow-tie) pasta may be substituted.
