Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup breadcrumbs plain
  •  eggs 
  • lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.5 cup onion finely chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 10 oz soy sauce

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400F. In large bowl, mix beef, onion, bread crumbs, milk, salt, pepper and egg. Shape mixture into thirty 1-inch meatballs. In ungreased 13x9-inch pan, place meatballs.
  2. Bake uncovered about 15 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink in center and thermometer inserted in center reads 160F.
  3. In 2-quart saucepan, mix meatballs and sweet-and-sour sauce.
  4. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce and meatballs are hot.
  5. Serve hot with toothpicks.
