Ingredients

  • teaspoons double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.8 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.3 cup butter softened
  • 0.3 cup coconut flakes flaked
  •  eggs 
  • 1.7 cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 cup macadamia nuts chopped
  • cup milk 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup toffee chips english

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease bottom and sides of 9-inch or 8-inch square pan with shortening.
  2. In large bowl, beat all ingredients except toffee bits, coconut and nuts with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in 2 tablespoons of the toffee bits.
  3. Pour into pan.
  4. Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons toffee bits, the coconut and nuts over batter.
  5. Bake 32 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
