Ingredients

  • teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.7 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.3 cup butter softened
  • tablespoon butter softened
  •  eggs 
  • cup flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • teaspoons milk 
  • 0.5 cup nuts chopped
  • 0.8 cup powdered sugar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla 
  • cup zucchini shredded drained

Equipment

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F. Grease bottom and sides of 9- or 8-inch square pan. In large bowl, mix brown sugar, butter, vanilla and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon cloves. Stir in zucchini and nuts.
  2. Spread in pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  4. In medium bowl, mix all frosting ingredients until smooth and spreadable.
  5. Spread frosting over bars. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.
