Ingredients

  • 17.5 oz sugar cookie mix 
  • 0.3 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  •  eggs 
  • 0.5 teaspoon almond extract 
  • 0.5 cup almonds toasted sliced
  • 16 oz cream cheese frosting 
  • teaspoon coconut extract 
  • 0.5 cup coconut flakes flaked toasted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix and cocoa until well blended.
  2. Add butter, egg and almond extract; stir until soft dough forms. Gently stir in almonds. Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls.
  3. Bake 12 minutes or until set.
  4. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  5. In medium bowl, stir frosting and coconut extract. Frost cookies.
  6. Sprinkle with coconut.
