Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup butter 
  • teaspoon cajun spice 
  • ounce bottled clam juice 
  • cup cooking wine dry white
  • tablespoons flour all-purpose
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • pound lump crab meat fresh
  • 12 ounce dozens oysters fresh drained
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  •  shallots finely chopped
  • quart whipping cream 
  • tablespoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; add garlic and shallot, and saut until tender.
  2. Add flour; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add clam juice and wine; cook 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and next 3 ingredients. Cook until thoroughly heated, about 10 minutes. Stir in oysters and crabmeat; cook just until edges of oysters curl.
