  • 10  maraschino cherries 
  • oz jell-o orange flavor gelatin 
  • 20 oz dole pineapple drained canned
  • 0.8 cup cool whip whipped topping thawed
  • pkg duncan hines classic decadent cake mix yellow (2-layer size)

Equipment

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Sprinkle dry gelatin mix onto bottom of prepared dish. Top with pineapple; place cherry in center of each slice.
  4. Prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour over fruit.
  5. Bake 40 to 45 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 min. Loosen cake from sides of dish; invert onto platter. Gently remove dish; cool cake completely.
  6. Serve topped with COOL WHIP.
