Ingredients

  • cups golden delicious apple peeled sliced ( 3 medium)
  • cups peaches fresh peeled sliced ( 3 medium)
  • 0.3 cup granulated sugar 
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats 
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 cup butter cold
  • 0.3 cup walnut pieces chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with shortening or cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, toss apples, peaches and granulated sugar.
  3. Pour into baking dish. In same bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon.
  4. Cut in butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until mixture is crumbly. Stir in walnuts.
  5. Sprinkle over fruit.
  6. Bake 30 minutes or until topping is golden and fruit is tender. Cool 15 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
