Ingredients

  • oz cream cheese softened
  • cup mushrooms fresh sliced
  •  garlic clove minced
  • lb ground beef lean
  • 2.3 oz mushrooms 
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • box pie crust dough refrigerated softened
  • 0.5 cup cream sour
  • 0.5 cup water

Directions

  1. Prepare pie crust as directed on package for two-crust pie using 9-inch glass pie pan.
  2. Heat oven to 375F. In large skillet, cook ground beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently.
  3. Drain.
  4. Stir in soup mix, pepper and water.
  5. Add cream cheese; cook and stir until cream cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
  6. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream.
  7. Pour into crust-lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute.
  8. Cut slits in several places in top crust.
  9. Bake at 375F. for 45 to 50 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown.
  10. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
  11. Cut into wedges to serve.
