Ingredients

  • cups curd cottage cheese 
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • tablespoons parsley fresh chopped
  • tablespoon oregano dried fresh chopped
  • 56 ounces pasta sauce (any variety)
  • 12  lasagne pasta sheets uncooked
  • ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • oz cheese shredded

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, the parsley and oregano.
  3. Spread 2 cups of the pasta sauce in ungreased rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches; top with 4 uncooked noodles.
  4. Spread ricotta cheese mixture over noodles.
  5. Spread with 2 cups pasta sauce and top with 4 noodles; repeat with 2 cups pasta sauce and 4 noodles.
  6. Sprinkle with 2 cups mozzarella cheese.
  7. Spread with remaining pasta sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake about 30 minutes longer or until hot and bubbly.
  10. Sprinkle with additional mozzarella cheese.
  11. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
