  • 16 ounces farfalle pasta 
  • 0.8 cup chicken broth 
  • 1.5 teaspoons basil fresh minced
  • large garlic clove minced
  • cup cup heavy whipping cream 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • 1.5 teaspoons oregano fresh minced
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • small onion red chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onion in oil until tender.
  2. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the broth, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; cook for 8 minutes or until reduced by about half. Stir in cream.
  3. Cook, uncovered, 8-10 minutes longer or until sauce is reduced to 1-1/4 cups.
  4. Drain pasta; toss with sauce.
